WHAT: The 3rd Annual Sneaker Law x GSU College of Law Competition will take place all day Thursday, March 7th, 2024 followed by an invite-only post-competition party (Venue TBA). 


Friday, March 8th, 2024, will be a half day conference, followed by the final round of competition and trophy presentation.

In this panel discussion, seasoned executives, lawyers, and college athletic directors will delve into the intricate legal aspects of NIL deals within the sneaker industry. The expert panel aims to provide valuable insights into navigating this evolving landscape, offering guidance on how students can effectively and ethically engage in NIL opportunities. Join us as we explore the legal nuances shaping this transformative intersection of sports, business, and student-athlete endorsements.

Trademark, patent, and copyright infringement have been at the forefront of these cases. So, as a sneaker designer, how do you protect yourself and design a legally viable sneaker that will avoid potential issues? This panel will pair famous attorneys, designers, and creatives to explore the legal world of sneaker design.
